General Information

What types of events can be hosted at your venue?
We accommodate a variety of events including weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, performances, parties, workshops, and more. Please reach out for more specific event types.
What is the occupancy?
The occupancy for The Federal is 200 as a seated audience, 140 for guests seated at a table (with ten guests per table), and 120 for guests seated at a table with our dancefloor set-up. For smaller events, our Postmaster’s Office can accommodate up to 55 guests as a seated audience and 40 guests seated at tables.
How far in advance should I book the venue?
We recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance to secure your desired date. However, we can often accommodate shorter or longer notice bookings depending on availability.
How do I check the availability of the venue?
You can check availability by visiting our website’s booking page, or by contacting our event coordinator directly via phone or email.
Is there an elevator?

We do have an elevator to help with vendor load-ins and guests. The elevator is located on the first floor and is accessible for all guests.

How many restrooms are available?

There are five restrooms on the Second Floor of The Federal, two of which are in the hallway, two of which are in the Jury Room, and one of which is in the Judge’s Chambers. The Postmaster’s Office, on the First Floor, also has a private restroom.

Do you allow animals?

We do love our, and your, furry friends! However, we require animals to be Certified Service Animals in order to welcome them to your event.

Booking & Pricing

What is the rental fee for the venue?

Rental fees vary based on the date, time, and size of the event. Please contact us for a detailed quote or refer to our pricing page for more information.

What is included in the venue rental fee?

The rental fee generally includes the use of the event space, an event liaison and cleaning services. Additional services such as basic furniture, AV equipment, or décor may incur extra charges.

Do you require a deposit to secure a booking?

Yes, a deposit is typically required to reserve your event date. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be outlined in the contract.

What is a COI and do I need one?

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is required for all non-wedding events occupying any space managed by Raven Production Events. Details for this will be outlined in your contract and can be purchased through your preferred insurance company. 

Can I make changes to my booking or cancel?

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are outlined in the booking agreement. Please review them and contact us for any changes or concerns.

Event Setup & Services

Can I bring my own vendors (caterer, photographer, DJ, etc.)?

Yes, you are welcome to bring in your own vendors. However, we also offer a list of preferred vendors who are familiar with our venue and can assist with a seamless experience.

Do you offer catering services?

We provide preferred catering options, but you are welcome to bring your own catering or work with an outside vendor.

What is your alcohol service policy?

Alcohol can only be served during the agreed-upon event hours, and all service must comply with local liquor laws. We reserve the right to refuse service to guests who appear intoxicated.

Can I bring my own alcohol to the event?

Yes, you can bring your own alcohol, but all alcohol must be served by licensed bartenders, and we are happy to provide a list of preferred bartenders.

Is there a sound system or AV equipment available at the venue?
Yes, our venue is equipped with audio/visual equipment such as microphones, projectors, and speakers. Additional AV services can be provided for an additional fee if needed.
Can I decorate the space?

Yes, you can decorate the space, but we ask that you adhere to our decor guidelines, which prevent damage to the venue. We can also provide a list of approved vendors who specialize in event design and décor.
